On May 30, 2021, I had the opportunity of visiting the highly anticipated event "Peace by Piece" hosted by Houston's very own Bounceback HTX. Let me start by saying I truly enjoyed myself and wanted to show great appreciation to the vendors throughout this event because, without you, this would not be possible. With a room full of great vibes, and charismatic people, it was truly a sight to see. With everyone coming together as one and just enjoying the company of each other and the vintage threads all around us, this was an excellent opportunity to network and snag a couple of those vintage pieces your mom and pops used to have when they were coming up. While talking to the owners of Bounceback HTX, Robert, Leo, and Drew, they allowed me to see that this was more than just an event to show off clothes, but more so an event where the community can come together as one and enjoy themselves. Starting at the Hip Hop vintage flea market, these three best friends as a collective group were able to build their store, and with a bit of patience and hard work, gradually developed to hosting "Peace by Piece." They say, "Us being a part of the vintage community and streetwear community, we just wanted something that we could throw to get the community together every 3 to 4 months."
